Been uploading one everyday to the tumblr!

Sivir - League of Legends

So I think I will try to continue these as a series and draw a char everyday from LOL but for the purposes of this blog, I'm only going to update about this series once a week with a collective of all of them. I will, however, update my tumblr everyday with them;

www.amberanimation.tumblr.com

So, if you MUST see League images everyday - head over there! Otherwise, once a week here!

Today is Sivir!

Miss Fortune - League of Legends

Another League image - Miss Fortune; a great ADC! I will perhaps try to draw all the characters... (Hahaha. Vicious lies!)

I'm also using this tumblr thing? I don't really 'get' it but most of the same stuff will be posted there I think.

Zyra - League of Legends

So, if you couldn't tell from the title, this post is about the game League of Legends....

A game I have spent entirely too many hours playing when I could be doing anything else! D:

It is just too addicting.... ugggh.  So far, this is my favourite champion -

I would have drawn her as super sexy pin-up, but that's already what she is, so chibi time, yeah!

Zyraaaaaaaaa.

Unreleased Sketches

It's still Jan. for a few minutes while I type this :D It will count, just because I don't have any large scale paintings ready, everyone can see 2 more sketches that are in line to get the painted treatment.

I have been so busy >: And so much stuff I cannot share.

I really like the Granny one. As always from my sketchbooks, drawn with Pen.

Peanut Out! Bye January!

2013 - Gunna try for lots of updates!

I've been working on quite a few projects recently that I'm pretty excited about. Hopefully I'll be able to reveal some of that stuff soooooooon. But for now;

Enjoy! I call her Pointer Lady. I'm pretty terrible at naming things.

I plan on updating this blog 3 times a mo. at minimum so look foward to at least 2 more updates this month! :D

Ride a Unicorn and Dump the Sketches!

Here's a little update for you all!

Earlier this month I went to a friend's beautiful wedding and wanted to make the couple something a little special!  I've known Bonnie since we were children and I remember the days when I used to draw her unicorns and pegusus all the time. As a little kick I wanted to draw them something fun and special. I had this printed and gave them a framed version at their wedding. I've heard from the source that they are quite happy with it and have hung it up in their home. (:

Aaaaaaand a big sketch dump XD

Follow the Ghost

I've been keeping busy! Today is another digitized image from the sketchbook. I like how I approached this one and the end result - enjoy!

And a little extra bonus - the sketch version from the sketchbook!

Fawn

Digitized out of the sketchbook. Just a nice relaxing time at Starbucks (: Like the good old days of getting strange looks at my monstrous laptop and big ol' Intous tablet.

Be Brave!

What an intense month it's been! I just have to be like Merida and stay strong and Brave in the face of adversity! (Also old age - I turned 24 bah!)

The full image! I think I will make it into a bookmark for myself!

 Details shot of her face!

A scary thing happened when I turned off some layers when I was getting started. AHHHHhhhhhh..!!

What it looked like in the sketchbook - my fingers popped into the scan P: I love working in this small format with pen. I originally drew this the night after coming home from seeing the movie in theaters the first week it was released (very delayed, I know - my free time has been far and inbetween) and I didn't know if it was Merida or Meridah... after several moments of thought I decided to add the H at the end, a few more moments and I didn't think the H should be there and tried to draw a bear over it - haha. All laugh at my fail bear. (I know what I should practice next!)

So I scanned a full sketchbook of small pen works - so expect more frequent updates cause I finally set up my scanner!

Sketches and some rough work.

Some rough sketches that I don't really plan on taking any farther than they already are.

Cirque Du Soleil: Quidam sketches

I had the pleasure of going to see Quidam Cirque Du Soleil show in Toronto yesterday. My first Cirque show! To state it simply, it was superb. So many times during the performance I just wanted to yell "STOP! Hold that pose!" so I could sketch it. These are just some memory sketches, no more than 3 mins per sketch I'd say. Was fun going back through the characters and reliving the acts in my head. I can't wait to see another Cirque Show :D
